Roasted Chickpeas the Ultimate Healthy Snack
These lightly roasted and spiced chickpeas (garbanzo beans) are a healthy alternative to nuts at your next party. Easy to make and very kid-friendly with no allergy problems. The recipe can be made with dried chickpeas or the canned alternative.

  1. Soak dried chickpeas overnight. Ignore if using canned chickpeas (garbanzo beans).
  2. Pre-heat oven to 400 f (205 c).
  3. Drain canned or soaking chickpeas, rinse and drain again. Dry well with kitchen paper.
  4. Add remaining ingredients to a bowl and stir well to combine. Add the chickpeas. Mix well again until chickpeas are well coated.
  5. Line an oven tray with baking paper. Spread the chickpeas out. Bake for 45 minutes.
