Simple Grilled Calamari Recipe for Easy Cooking at Home
Cooking times will vary based on the thickness of the calamari pieces. Feeds 4 as an appetizer, or as part of a tapas set, or 2 as a main dish.

  1. Place the calamari in a bowl. Add the olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic and stir well to combine. Squeeze the juice of one half of the lemon into the bowl. Stir and allow to marinate for 10 to 15 minutes.
  2. Grill/broil for 3 minutes under high heat, turning the calamari half way through the cooking time.
  3. To serve, place in a bowl, squeeze the juice of the second half of lemon over the calamari and sprinkle with the parsley. Serve immediately.
