Be Smart and Start Your Day with this Healthy Smoothie
Don’t forget to freeze the chopped up banana as this is something to keep in mind when learning how to make a fruit smoothie so you can avoid diluting the smoothie with melting ice. I also chill a large glass in the freezer for 10 minutes and I pre-prepared the espresso shot.
This recipe makes 1 large drink or 2 small drinks. If you want something more substantial, you can also add some good quality muesli into the blender.

I use yogurt when I make this basic smoothie recipe so that it is a healthy frozen fruit and yogurt smoothie. If you want to know how to make a smoothie with milk instead, feel free to substitute the yogurt with milk. O or use almond milk, for a nuttier and dairy- free option. And for a Central American taste, add a sprinkle of cinnamon on top of the finished smoothie.
